Vasil Levski National Stadium – the first turnkey engineering project was completed. The offer was accepted by GBS Sofia, after comparison with the competitive offers of Citeco and Phillips. In the process of implementation of the offer, GE specialists prepared a completed design of the lighting system of the stadium, the lighting system was supplied and installed, the floodlight system was oriented, installed and controlled by the team of Dimov Company EOOD. The project was implemented with 240 pcs. floodlight lamps EF2000, manufactured by GE, with input capacity of 2025W, for a period of two months. After the end of the reconstruction, the illumination measurements made showed full compliance with FIFA and UEFA requirements. The first match played under the light of the new lighting system was between the national teams of Bulgaria and Croatia (2:0) with the spectacular goals of Berbatov and St. Petrov.
