Municipality of Varna - “Turnkey engineering and reconstruction with energy-efficient lighting fixtures of the artificial lighting systems of the school buildings of the Municipality of Varna”. The municipality of Varna, sticking to its principles of care for the young generation and implementation of new practices in the performance of its social functions announced an open tender for “Turnkey engineering and reconstruction with energy-efficient lighting fixtures of the artificial lighting systems of the school buildings of the Municipality of Varna”, under financial lease conditions. In less than two months, the specialists of Dimov Company managed to prepare the working designs of the buildings planned for reconstruction and make all necessary calculations of the eventual savings after finalization of the reconstruction. The good teamwork and the expedient and laborious work of the staff were in the basis of the achieved success. The action is still continuing and the activities under it have not ended, yet we can say that Varna is the first city in Bulgaria, where 70% of the young generation will start the new school year (2007) in an absolutely new environment, corresponding to the EU membership and the city rightly may be called a leader in the application of energy efficiency measures in compliance with the European requirements and the legislation of the state.
